“I would stay here again! We booked a last minute room for two week nights. Pleasant reception and attention by Baden! We bought a bottle of lovely white wine and a couple of beers from the nice selection in the lobby. Two stemmed wine glasses were in the sitting area of our room which had a large balcony with sliding screen door, chairs and a table where we could hear the "Big Creek" run. “This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ...
