“We stayed at Margaritaville Beach House Key West for three nights and had a mix of positives and challenges. The staff was welcoming, the restaurant was good, and the shuttle service to Old Town made getting around easy. Unfortunately, we did not have hot water during our stay, which was disappointing. We were told it was being worked on, but it was not resolved before we left. We also experienced issues with the room, including blinking smoke detectors and an AC unit that ran constantly. The……

“The property is nothing like depicted on Expedia or any other travel site. It is misleading. The facilities are less than average. Everything is old and falling apart. The bathroom we had clearly hasn’t been updated in decades. While the room was an acceptable size, the wardrobe was small, very old and had doors that didn’t close. The pool is small, dingy and dirty. The provided breakfast was disappointing. The location is a 15 minute walk from Duval Street which is the main drag of the area.……
