"The only good things are the good location, good breakfast, and nice staff. However, staff is not available late afternoon to evening so you will need to walk to front desk if you need blankets, pillows, or toilet paper. The hotel is outdated. Our bathroom floor was dirty with hair and medication on the floor. Staff came to clean. Our room door was loose and let in so much air and light and looked like someone could break it down. The loose door made the living room very noisy. Unfortunately, we didn’t notice this until we had already unpacked and getting ready for bed. Will never stay here again. I’m disappointed in Best Western."

"Loved the location and amenities! It had everything we needed. Beach was beautiful- I could watch the surfers all day long! You have a shuttle that takes you to the beach if you don’t want to walk 2 minutes :) and you can request them to set up the chairs and umbrellas, get boogie boards. I find it a very nice add-on. Staff was beyond attentive!! Food at restaurants was very good! You almost don’t need to leave, but you do have a gorgeous area around so it’s nice to venture off to San Clemente or Laguna Beach. We live in Venice beach only a little over 1 hour away and this felt like a nice vacation!!"
