Wilderness at the Smokies – River Lodge Suites
"Great place for something to do after pigeon forge/ Gatlinburg activities. Lots of slides and waterpark activities. The food options could be better but overall great place to stay"
The Park Vista - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Gatlinburg
"Clean room, comfortable bed, full maid service every day. Parking is $18 per day. Staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Note that a/c is in the wall, a little noisier than central a/c but not a problem."
The Resort at Governor's Crossing
"This is our 3rd stay at Governor’s Crossing in 10 years or more. We enjoyed it. It was brand new the first time we stayed and I guess when you compare it to what it was then and what it is now, you can tell the difference. It’s getting some wear and tear on it. The day we checked in, they had repaired a loose tile in the master bathroom with some type of silicone caulking or glue or something. It had a terrible chemical smell and the room was filled with fumes. It smelled like wet exterior paint with a hint of gasoline. I mentioned it…they put an ionizer in it…it went away for a few hours, but wasn’t quite as strong, but it came back. It gave me a terrible headache, but the place was full, so what could we do? We kept that door closed with the exhaust fan on and left the balcony door open to air it out. We stayed a week and it never really went away. The TV’s in the bedrooms are outdated and were very slow. The dish network hardware needs to be updated along with the TV’s themselves. The internet connection I really didn’t use, but my younger family couldn’t connect their game consoles to it and was slow on the phone, but the place was full, so I suppose the bandwidth was stretched thin. The carpet in our building was looking worn. Also, we had (2) 2 bedroom units and was supposed to be next to each other, or you would think next to each other or at least on the same floor, but ended up on separate floors on opposite ends. 5 out of 10."
Comfort Suites Gatlinburg Downtown-Convention Center
"Room was very clean; property well maintained; close to downtown area within walking distance; staff very courteous"
Best Western Plaza Inn
"Great place for a quick weekend away for couples or families. Room was awesome. Love that the pools stay open late! Definitely will stay again!"
Country Cascades Waterpark Resort
"Our 2nd year in a row stay here and we had a better time than we did last year!"
