“My room opened onto the large balcony overlooking the ocean, which was great except it only had any privacy when the curtains were all closed tightly. The balcony was beautiful, although a very strange man set up a karaoke machine close to my room and proceeded to try to sing...The bed was comfortable, but a rug would have been nice on the newly done floors.”

“It’s a cool older hotel but I was expecting more from the fabulous reviews I saw. The staff was polite but not warm or friendly. The bathroom was a bit dated and we were initially only provided one set of towels. A guest left a cocktail on the wall outside and it was there all 3 days we were. It was pretty far away from everything. I think it would be nice during warmer weather but it was a bit of a disappointment for us.”

“Clean, quiet, comfortable, and the host was wonderful. We truly enjoyed our short time in Gloucester, and staying at the Harborview Inn added to that enjoyment. If we are ever in the area again, we would stay here again without hesitation.”
