Rockport Inn And Suites

"The room was clean and decent. Everything was nice in the room and beds were comfortable. I was shocked when we first arrived because the front of the building looks nothing like the picture they showed when booking of the pool etc. The outside is dated and needs updates. Paint was peeling on the door frames and just looked old. The toilet was so low you almost had to fall down just to sit on it and was loose from the wall so it was super loud to sit and everytime you stood up. Each room has a separate entrance which is nice but ours had 3 stairs to climb to get in. Not great for some with mobility issues. The breakfast was dismal. We went at 8:30am and they were almost out of bagels. No hot items, just pre packaged danishes etc and some cereal. We tried the apple juice but it didn't have a good flavor. We ended up going out for a quick breakfast instead. The wifi was dreadful and at least half the time I had no signal at all which was sucky as I was using my phone to make plans and reservations for the next day. It was an okay place but I really think it was a little overpriced for what you get."

"We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to return! Jo was quick to respond, graciously accommodating to our schedule and requests, and simply wonderful. The apartment is charming and the area is quiet and peaceful. Ample desk and counter work space for 2 people working from the road (remote). High speed and reliable wifi. The kitchen was well stocked for use and the coffee and tea were a thoughtful and appreciated gift. The space is cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Bed is super comfy and weather was so cooperative in August, we didn't even need the AC. Recommend windows open with Seagulls and shore sounds. Location is ideal. Main street and harbor have all you need and more, although the surrounding area also has so much to offer. We walked to and from the train station for arrival/departure and also a day trip to Rockport. We walked to Hammond castle along the scenic waterfront (note that the last mile is not pedestrian friendly so recommend an uber to and from the castle). Highly recommend this stay if you are visiting Cape Ann or beyond. Thanks again Jo!"

"Roomy, nicely renovated coastal vibe home. Great spot for prepping a family for a local wedding. Bedrooms are cozy and the beds are very comfy. We enjoyed the wide open common areas. This beautiful home worked out perfectly. We’ll find a reason to go back soon."
