“It’s comfortable and cozy, I love the kitchen, too. We will love to be back!”

“I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel this one is warranted. When we checked in, we discovered the room had no air conditioning. We were told by the owner that after about 9:00 PM the room would cool down from the river breeze, so we decided to stay. Unfortunately, the room never cooled off and remained uncomfortably hot all night. We were traveling with family, including a pregnant woman, which made the lack of air conditioning even more concerning. To make matters worse, it was nearly……

“Beautiful 1930 hotel with original antiques in the main area of the hotel. Due to the age there is only a portable air conditioner for each room that struggles to keep the room cool. The bathroom sink is a complete joke. Way too small to use. The owner/manager is very very nice during your stay until it’s time to check out. She wants you out before 11am. We were loading the car with our bags and she was cleaning the room when we walked back in. This was before 11am. She became rude and told us……

“Great staff! Very helpful and welcoming! Only issue we had was that our room smelled like smoke even though it’s a smoke free hotel. We had our kiddos and the smell wasn’t the greatest for them. We didn’t change rooms due to the hotel being booked.”

“We were only there for the night so we didn’t spend much time there but the room was clean and spacious for our family. It was also stocked with coffee water and some snacks for us which was a nice touch. Staff was responsive through messaging for easy check in and out.”

“This property should not be used until it has updates. The electrical system is very old, plugs won’t stay in, you have to unplug items to not trip a circuit and I felt unsafe. The heating wall gas heating unit did not function and I was very happy to see CO monitors in place. This unit looked like it was from the 40’s. The paint is chipped, there are large chunks of wood missing and an all of the faucets dripped water. This was not the unit I chose at booking but was given to us due to repairs……

“Super easy check in, great communication, ready place to find in the middle of town. Room was small but nit terrible, had microwave, fridge utensils etc. Only negative is it could use grab bars in the shower.”

“one power outlet in the living room , 1 in the kitchen and 1 outlet for the fan in the bedroom. Dated would be accurate if this was this was the 1990's.”
