Halls were dirty. Carpet squares peeling up causing tripping hazard.
Room looked ok but halls and room doors scuffed and scratched like they haven't been painted in years.

“I stayed as a single traveler and was looking forward to a nice stay at the coast. I ended up leaving a day early.
Pros; The staff were all extremely friendly.
Cons; although housekeeping does the best that they can do, what they are dealing with is a very run down hotel.

“We ended up booking this hotel last minute after having issues with another place nearby, and honestly it completely saved our trip. We arrived around 10pm and the staff were incredibly accommodating, welcoming, and kind despite the late check-in.
The hotel itself smelled amazing, felt clean and well cared for, and had great amenities in a really central location. Our room was super cozy, very clean, and overall just felt comfortable the second we walked in.

“I enjoyed my time at the Anchor Inn! It is a unique place full of character and fun. The building is old, .but very clean. The room was perfect. comfortable bed, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, great shower and nicely decorated. The grounds are very nice, well maintained with lots of fun things for families. Every staff person I encountered was friendly and helpful. It was a great home away from home.”

“This is more about expedia than the place:
It's an RV camp and the cabin is not at all like the photos (I asked the helpful and sympathic staff about this and they said they'd tried to update and clarify, but that they weren't able to, because of Expedia). I felt Expedia was unclear and had misleading photos and information.
My site was a cabin with no running water or heat, no bedding and no bathroom. The staff asked me if I had bedding, and I didn't, because I don't check for "bathroom" or……
