"We loved the cottage and will be back again. We loved how everything in town is in walking distance, and there are so many places to see angst things to do within 30 minutes. We were in town for a high School bass tournament. There is plenty of room for a boat and trailer, and external outlets on the garage to charge overnight."

The neighborhood seemed to be very nice also, but the yard area was not very inviting for sitting outside, although I do want to say that it appears the owners are in the process of making it more accommodating."

"We were there when it was snowing and later in the weekend when it was sunshiny and warm. We lit a fire in the wood burning stove and walked outside and enjoyed the labyrinth. We heard the coyotes yip and watched the hawks fly over the bluff. We braked for turkeys and deer. We also made the short trek into Red Wing for serious shopping and spent time at Lena’s. In short we loved it all!"

"The cottage was very cute and well stocked with pots and pans and spices if you want to cook. The snacks and water were very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t mind the sound of the trains at night but the blowing train whistle woke us a few times. There are ear plugs there if needed. Unfortunately the lake was over grown with vegetation so we didn’t kayak, but we brought our own bikes and rode the Cannon Falls trail in MN. The trail was beautiful. The owner...
