"Honestly this is the most unprofessional “stay” i have ever encountered. Apparently the listing was “taken off” and shouldn’t have been available. The owner did not reach out or say anything and when I tried to reach out, my calls were saying they were not accepting calls. It took me going to the property to see another guest having the same problem as myself. We had to get a phone number from separate guests staying downstairs just to get a hold of the owner who still did not help in getting a...

"We were pleasantly surprised at how nice, clean, and comfortable our stay was. We knew the area is rough. But the hotel was a welcomed respite. Beds were clean. Bathroom was clean. Desk attendant was super friendly and very hospitable. I will def stay here again if I'm back in the city and want to be close to the BGCA. "

"No complaints, loved that I was able to park here and feel secure about it. Bed was fairly comfortable too and the free earplugs were nice"

"I had a pleasant stay at The European Hostel. The location is convenient—close to public transport and just a short walk from many popular attractions in San Francisco. The front desk staff, especially Nick, was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive to guests' needs, creating a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

"We loved the location and the beautiful building. We rode a cable car to Fisherman's Wharf! We were able to walk to dinner. Would definitely stay here again!"
Hampton Inn San Francisco Downtown/Convention Center
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel and staff are wonderful. The room was clean, and they let me check my luggage for several hours before check-in & after check-out. I was abpe to gp enjoy the city, eat food, go to the zoo, and kill time between checks & airport times. The only negative is that it is in the center of the infamous Tenderloin. Coming back late at night was scary because there would be people fent-leaning or high & ranting/screaming right outside the front entrance. This is not the fault of the hotel though, just something to be aware of. Love the roof top for smoking. "
"The hotel room does not have air conditioning. I didn’t mind since opening the window was enough to cool down the room. So I’m still giving it five star. Location is the best part, very convenient, and on the cable car route."
