“The male front desk worker was rude. At 8am there was no coffee and asked him if there was any and he huffed and had to set down his phone. No polite at all Alot of the properties need work. Windows missing and open duck vents where animals can get in. Outdated and older set up”

“Extremely disappointing — would never recommend Our stay at Sugar Beach Resort was extremely disappointing. The bathroom was nasty, and the shower had visible mold. The bed was also very uncomfortable. We specifically paid extra for a room with a view, but the front desk initially gave us a room with the view blocked by a large tree. They didn’t resolve the issue until we complained twice. Why advertise and charge for a view if you’re not going to provide it? The “breakfast” was honestly……

“The environment is very good, the transportation and parking are convenient, the hotel is clean and sanitary, and the service is good.”

“To start only reason the hotel was booked was for the "Waterpark" made sure the park was included with my stay well we arrive and the front desk said the water park was not included i showed her my receipt and what was included and she said "oh thats the problem with 3rd party they just lie sometimes" ... then she goes on to say that only one slide was working the lazy river, hot tub, and the other slide was all out of order she also said to buy tickets for the waterpark it was a whooping $60……

“We enjoyed our stay at Island House as it was centrally located. Shepler’s ferry transported our luggage to the hotel for us and we lined up for our luggage to be picked up and transported back to the ferry when we left the island. Very nice service to have so you didn’t have to transport your own luggage or get a horse drawn taxi. Enjoyed sitting out on the front porch rocking chairs in the morning and the front lawn chairs in the evening by the fire pit looking out over the bay. The bike……

“First stay at the resort. We’re clean freaks and the property passed the test. Great workout center for a resort. Staff we interacted with were great. Had to make a change to the reservation and the staff was very helpful.”

“Very well kept property, our room was very clean & in good shape. The Kankakee Grill was well ran & had good service. Overall a wonderful place to stay!”

“First off, you’re getting what you pay for. While it’s dressed up as an updated property, you can still smell mold. Also, over my two night stay, the internet never worked. I wont be staying there again.”
