"Comfortable Stay with Excellent Amenities Stayed at Country Garden and Suite in Benton, IL and was very impressed. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and everything looked recently updated.The hot breakfast in the morning was a great touch — fresh and filling. The staff was friendly and check-in was fast and easy. I also liked that the hotel is right off the highway, which made it convenient for my road trip."

"We really enjoyed the location of this house. It is right on the lake, easy to get to. Dock is shared. Only downfall is kitchen is not well equipped. We rented the whole house, ground level and upper level, plenty of room then for all 16 of us. Don't know if I would like having some else staying above though, even though you can lock stairway on both sides. Could be noise factor then of hearing footsteps above you. (As someone else said in review). House is as pictured exactly. Other houses are close by, but lake & dock is great. Went to KOA water park - kids loved it! We rented jet skis the other day. Went to a winery late one afternoon. Adult time away, with older teens babysitting. There is plenty to do in the area. We will be back in the area again, maybe at same house!"

"We held our family reunion, The Coghlan Chaos 500, at this amazing property; it was perfect for all the fun and games we had organized for this 4-day party. It had anything we needed, a grill, a griddle, 2 refrigerators and even a nice 30-cup coffee pot. Great place for a large group! The family had a wonderful time fishing and swimming off the large dock. It was one of the most beautiful Verbos we have stayed in over the years!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was immaculate and the views were beautiful. Our 11 year old enjoyed the pool daily and we spent almost every morning on the covered porch drinking coffee and watching the rain come in. The hosts were extremely accommodating with suggestions for dinner and hiking trails. We also loved our tour of their farm and meeting all their animals. "

"This cabin was more than we had expected! We loved the secluded location, and enjoyed just sitting on the front porch looking at the property. It was very clean, and the furnishings were wonderful. We enjoyed horseback riding and hiking locally! "

"We had a great stay at the camper! Caught some bass out of the pond. Tasted some wine while chatting with Steve and Debbie and cuddling their cute new barn kitten and puppy. Shotgun Eddys, nearby restaurant, had some great food and an awesome bloody mary. We went and checked out some beautiful scenery and took a dip in the swimming hole nearby. The hot tub was nice and we had a really nice, relaxing weekend here! "

"We had a great stay. The place was very clean and comfortable. The beds were so nice. Our favorite was sitting out on the deck overlooking the river. It was a peaceful getaway. We were even able to take a short trail down to the river. I highly recommend a stay here. "
