"We were there for a 1 night stay. Through our Hotels.Com booking, we received a $20 coupon to use in the hotel. Ok, we figured let have a couple of glasses of wine @the Bar before leaving for dinner. We requested Bar level wines (not too shelf) which were presented nicely. To our dismay, the cost of each glass of wine was $20. So, the bill was $40 + a $5 tip. We found that to be exorbitant. On checkout, we complained about the pricing but the front desk would/could not do anything to reduce that, claiming no Manager was available to assist. We were then directed to the Food Manager who also would/could not assisted but took our info and explained they would be alerted to our complaint. Waiting for a call. "

"I chose this hotel for convenience near JFK, but the stay fell below even basic expectations. The room appeared surface-level clean and the bed was comfortable, but there were several issues that shouldn’t be overlooked. The window blinds were broken, which impacted privacy, and more concerning, there was visible mold above the shower in the bathroom, which raises serious cleanliness concerns. Parking is limited to street parking, which happened to be available, but a hotel serving travelers should offer a more reliable option. The continental breakfast was also very minimal—waffles, apples, yogurt, toast, and coffee—with no hot items like eggs, bacon, or sausage, and limited creamer options. The one highlight was the free shuttle to the JFK AirTrain, which is quick and convenient. Overall, I would only stay here again if absolutely necessary. There are clear areas where maintenance and overall standards need improvement."

"So I was initially psyched to see the business, you have to go down into a stylized basement to get to the front desk lobby. That euphoria evaporated quickly as my foot proceeded to repeatedly stick to the floor getting to the front desk. That tacky foot feeling would later reveal an unidentifiable harry mass on the bottom of my shoe. Horribly, the desk clerk handed me an ash tray, that was so sticky (my smoking room had none), I honestly have no idea how it left her hand! Ten minutes of repeated heavy hand washing could not relieve the stick. I was saved by alcohol wipes I was lucky enough to have. Half of the tv channels were frozen in time, no buffering window, just frozen. The heat never got above 64, though the fan worked. The hallways were noisy, no sleep to be had. The elevator was slower than slow. And I was asked by other guests if it "was the slowest elevator in the world" Id say in my experience, it is the second slowest. Every inquiry or request to the desk seemed like a bother to them. The door lock was difficult to engage: push the door in, turn the lock, pull back. I was warned of its difficulty to use in other reviews. At first blush the room seemed clean, and I will say that in fact it was. It smelled sanitized without being too offensive, and I became nose blind that quickly enough. Later, I could smell residual smoke, though again not offensive. In general, the place is just sketch, pure and simple. I definitely will not be going back. "
