"Everything was great- service, quietness, friendliness of the staff, and of course the cleanness of the entire hotel. Food options for breakfast and dinner were great."

"Likes - checking-in was easy and check-in staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and spacious enough.
Breakfast was buffet-style and had adequate choices for my needs.
There is a good bus service into Edinburgh city centre.
Dislikes - my room overlooked the neighbouring restaurant so early evening was a bit noisy. "

"The Lane Apartment is beautiful, modern, comfortable and convenient.
Just off a main road with all amenities and a 25’ walk to the historic centre of Edinburgh, yet so quiet.
It’s modern, well kept and would definitely be using again.

"This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. It was a great find for the pinch we were in when the trains were shut down and we didnt have a place to stay."

"Great stay. We were only there one night but we will definitely be back. Lovely building and the rooms are huge, everything is so carefully thought out. We loved the honesty shop and breakfast, and my daughter loved the little toy area. "

"We had such a lovely stay here! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We visited over the Easter weekend, so the rates were a bit higher, but it was totally worth it. They even left a chocolate egg and a sweet card for the kids — such a thoughtful touch!
The hotel has its own parking area, which felt very secure. It’s £15 per night, but we were happy to pay for the peace of mind.
Everything about our stay was great, and I’d definitely love to come back next time I’m in Edinburgh."

"Beautiful historic building in a quiet area. The trip driveway transports you from a city setting past a horse field then a beautiful golf course. Restaurant options with well prepared food and generous portions. The flower gardens and grounds are beautiful. Navigating the interior of the building is a bit of a challenge but the staff is very friendly and willing to help with directions "
"Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Restaurant dinner was good and reasonably priced. The morning breakfast was excellent. Room size was more than adequate. No complaints. "
"Pros: Generous living spaces (sofa, dining, kitchen, w/d, d/w), Basic nespresso in room but only provided with 4 pods, and sophisticated coffee/beverage maker in lobby also). Two bedrooms. Tesco supermarket about 2 blocks away. Cons: Occasional awkward to navigate bedrooms as one had no closet (has an exposed organizer and dresser but no place to put suitcase except large closet across hallway), no lotion or conditioner provided (just a soap/shampoo), no a/c, hard to operate w/d. Our room a little noisy as faced the parking lot."
"There was a huge gift bag full of treats and a lovely handwritten note welcoming us to our room during the Oasis concert. The service and product were top notch. We will be back next time we visit Edinburgh. "
"Near the train and tram station that take you diectly to town in 15-20 minutes. The tram also goes to the airport in other direction. Rooms are big enough and not crammed. Enjoyed the hotel restaurant and friendly staff. Pool and exercise area for family. Will stay here again when i revisit Edinburgh. "
"Front desk guys were very welcoming , friendly and helpful! The staff in charge of the kitchen not so kind , they were somehow rude to help when asked a question During breakfast time .
Good location. Not so close by foot to the city center, but easy access by buss which stop it right outside the hotel. We had a great stay overall. "
"I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last 12 months, and am never disappointed with the service I get.
Staff will go out of their way to sort any problems you might get.
And for a small fee you can use the gym and the pool."
"The property was perfect, clean and spacious, the staff better, only 15 minutes to the center of the city, Edinburgh is one of the mos beautiful cities that I visited, if I coming again to Edinburgh I stay again in the same place"
