"The fishing was great. My husband used our kayak and was able to stay in an eddy and fish. Otherwise the bank was the type of mud that sucked your shoes off. "What a fun place! Plenty of room. We played foosball had a fire outside. We enjoyed the fireplace too. We hadn’t anticipated no TV though. You might want to add that to your description. The water is definitely smelly, so we truly appreciated the 40 bottles of water you provided. Definitely a great place for a girl’s weekend or family reunion!"

"We were there when it was snowing and later in the weekend when it was sunshiny and warm. We lit a fire in the wood burning stove and walked outside and enjoyed the labyrinth. We heard the coyotes yip and watched the hawks fly over the bluff. We braked for turkeys and deer. We also made the short trek into Red Wing for serious shopping and spent time at Lena’s. In short we loved it all!"

"We had a wonderful few days at this rental. The rental listed is found as detailed in the description. The walk down to the water is steep but has a nice view from the top of the hill and house. During our stay we fished from the pier, used the paddle boats and row boat provided. The lake is not super busy and relatively quiet. Hung out by the fire pit and enjoyed relaxing. The kids and adults enjoyed playing the yard games provided. We went to a few breweries and cheese places that are close....
