“The hotel itself was fine, but the beach was completely unusable. It was covered with seaweed that was approximately four feet thick, making it impossible to enjoy the beach or access the water. The smell was terrible similar to raw sewage and was so overwhelming that it made me sick. We had booked a five-night stay but ended up leaving after the first night because of the conditions. We were extremely disappointed, as the beach was one of the main reasons we chose this property.”

The public bathrooms were gross but all public bathrooms are- bring disposable toilet covers/witch hazel/wipes/hand sanitizer/etc. There is an option to stay in a teepee by the bathrooms. “We loved the hotel's location in the National Park and on the beach. The restaurant was delicious, the staff were helpful, everything was great. We loved the free breakfast! They gave us bikes to use and we were able to visit other hotels for dinner each night and feel safe doing so. We walked to the ruins and took the electric shuttles.
