"This property is run down and dated, but we found it clean and comfortable enough. The breakfast was actually quite good and had several hot and cold choices. Small inconvieniences were that the hot tub was out of order and we didn't know that ahead of time and the batteries were not installed in our safe. Staff was friendly all around."

"Absolutely hated our stay here. Room smelled horrible. The outside grounds of hotel just had shady people hanging around. Sheets were dirty with what seemed to be blood and other questionable stains , holes, hair . I asked staff if i could get at least 2 clean sheets to put on beds and to cover ourselves and lay on . Was told they didn't have any but to put in a housekeeping request and following day would get clean ones . That never happened. Woke up one of the mornings to loud adult activity happening in room next to us. Just Absolutely horrible experience . Would not recommend at all . Save your money or pay a lil more but avoid this place . "

"This place is awesome. The staff was so kind and helpful. The infinity pool was great. The restaurant food was to die for. They have Pilates machines. I ❤️ Pilates. Only thing I noticed was the blind in our room had a stain on it and the couch was pretty dirty looking which I didn’t expect for country club standards but over all I rate it highly and we’ll be coming back for sure. "

"This hotel is under construction. Our rooms windows were covered outside (no view whatsoever) as they were actively jack hammering out front of the hotel by 8am. Down the hall a crew was active daily, so if you want to book a stay, be ready for some construction activity all around you. It's a beautiful old hotel in need of renovation, but unless you enjoy being in the middle, I'd book elsewhere in Manitou Springs until they finish the job."
