“The whole house was very welcoming. Mary, the owner and hostess, was there when I arrived and gave me "the Grand Tour". I pretty much had the whole downstairs to myself. Breakfast was amazing, and Mary and I had a very nice conversation. I would definitely go back if the occasion arises.”

“Place is simple and cheap, could use some upkeep on building, door sticks and the water spigot for the sink drips and being held with duct tape. No bathroom just a portapotty to use. And watch out for the mice. It's a beautiful location on the west fork of the kickapoo River with access to the River.”

“This house was perfect for 5 adults to stay for the evening. We enjoyed the short walk to see the Wisconsin River.”

“So they were shampooing the carpets, so trying to keep it clean. We had a room of guys next to us that were very loud. Getting louder as the evening went on. We decided to leave because they were so loud and trying to open the adjoining door. As I picked up my purse to leave a cockroach went scrambling. We did the 3 hour ride home at 10:30 pm instead of the morning.”

“A very nice cabin in a beautiful setting. It’s in a fairly remote location, but was conveniently located near the Driftless Music Gardens, which we were visiting. Everything worked well, including the WiFi. We never even turned on the TV, so I can’t comment on the reception. Download your online Google map of the area ahead of time, because cell service is spotty out in the country.”

“We had a lovely stay by the river. There is plenty of room to spread out, a giant couch in the basement to watch movies, and a room upstairs to watch as well. Saw a bald eagle from the deck, and all the stars!”
