"The location of King’s Kastle on Salmon Lake is excellent. The lake is wide at that point and offers great views of the sunrise, particularly from the upstairs master bedroom suite. The lake has less development than others where we have stayed in Maine. We enjoyed seeing loons, eagles, and osprey which are abundant. "Overall, a very nice property. Clean, well furnished. Owner was great with communications (timely and responsive) Only issue I would say needed to be addressed was the water pressure in the shower as it was very low. Otherwise, a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. I would say the summer would be even more fun as the lake is right there to enjoy."

"This cottage was so immaculate and beautifully decorated. The owner thought of everything a guest may need and supplies were plentiful. It looks brand new and is cozy and comfortable. We loved staying here as it was close to Augusta and Gardiner. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. "Very relaxing vacation. The excellent weather certainly helped. We live locally so our adult children could come over for kayaking and dinners. The fire pit was great and we had s’mores every night. Just need to bring your own firewood. Having Wi-Fi was a plus. Dog friendly as it was fenced all around."

"Myself and 4 friends booked this home on the water for an annual super bowl ice fishing trip. The house was just as described, spacious and comfortable. The pond is beautiful and the fishing was outstanding, we caught fish all day long. Location is good as well, with plenty of restaurants and downtown Augusta within 10 to 15 minutes. Great home for the price."
