“The place was cute and exactly as described. When we arrived, it was horribly musty smelling. We had to open all the doors and windows and turn on the fans. There were gnats in the kitchen area and the bathroom, dust bunnies in multiple places, and a missing smoke detector. The yard had not been mowed recently and was unpleasant to walk through to the creek. There was a fire pit with yard chairs stacked on top. No firewood in sight. At the total price of $241 for one night, we were disappointed.”

The place does have some cracks in the walls, etc. either due to being old or due to Helene, which is fine. Doesn’t impact the stay. Simple kitchen, small couch. Fine for a night or two. Lots of clean towels which is great. Dog friendly is a big plus.I do recommend getting some lights for the stairs up on Bridge Street. There are string lights up the stairs from the parking lot but it’s pitch black on……
