"Lovely hotel"

"ALL OF THE STAFF at the Black Hawk are BEYOND Kind & Welcoming. We loved staying here 3 nights as we provided support to our fam on Ragbrai. We switched rooms and both were terrific. Spacious and clean with a lot of eclectic antiques throughout the hotel. Bartender at Cocktail lounge makes some great drinks and is also SUPER NICE. Great location with lots of restaurant options / bars. "

"Great price, property is nice (parking lot is a little worn), close to food, gas and perfect if you like to take walks. Easy access to Fwy. Front desk were very smiley but not much on the rest of staff. Worth a stay. "

"It was a beautiful room, comfy bed. Shower with built in seat was great for my handicapped husband. Wish there was a coffee pot in the room. The wifi was SLOW. Staff was friendly & helpful."

"Nice place, but not much to do in the area as it was connected to the convention center where nothing was going on. Walking distance to Dan Gable Museum. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. It was nice and quiet until some very loud people moved in next door. We called the front desk and they handled it immediately with no problems after. Good breakfast. Pay parking in parking garage across the street."

"The food was good. Everyone was very helpful if we needed anything. The only thing that we didn't care for was the bridge construction, which was not your fault. "
