“Staff were all fantastic, special mention for excellent service from Chris at the front desk and Kristina (I think) at the lobby coffee bar. Both went above and beyond. The hotel was clean, grounds were immaculate and the views stunning. Great atmosphere beachside at night, live music, plenty of seating with fireplaces and saw staff making smores for everyone one night. There’s a little petting aquarium in the gift shop that was neat. Overall it’s a great place to stay just a little dated but……

“Great staff and location. Very family friendly. A classic Florida motel embracing its identity wholy and wonderfully. Just steps from the beach it was easy for me and my two children to relax and have fun. When the pool or beach no longer entertained the youngest (5yr) there was plenty to do nearby and when the oldest (10yr) inevitably got hungry there were plenty of options.”

“Staff were great, pool was great kids loved it, two good restaurants so close you could throw a rock at. Balconies are on the land side instead of the water otherwise they’d double the prices. Old school charm here, quaint Americana. We booked it to get to Caledesi island only to find out ferry runs Thursday through Sunday only but still a good visit. ”

“Cons first. The palm court Italian restaurant was awful. The waitress was wonderful but the food was horrible. Zero flavor, overcooked, or bad tasting. I cannot stress enough do not waste your money. Rooms. While great size the walls are extremely thin. We could hear EVERYTHING. Made sleep difficult. Elevators were always not working. We were on the 7th floor so we needed to use them but if I wasn’t I would have never touched them again Lastly, be prepared to pay for a lot. I recommend……

“Room was clean and cool! Enjoyed watching the sunset from our balcony! Really enjoyed being so close to the pool and Sloppy Joe’s restaurant which had excellent food and beverages! We did take the stairs often and they could use a good cleaning and/or update. We will return!”
