The room was clean and modern, however we booked the family studio which included a sofa bed that was really only a single and needed to accommodate a 13 and 16 year old. This was way too small which caused a few issues."

"The staff at this hotel were brilliant, they were very friendly, polite and helpful. This is the friendliest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. All the staff were happy. The location of the hotel is excellent, it’s less than a 2 minute walk to the Royal Mile and about 10 minute walk to the train station. The hotel is next door to a Costa coffee and a small Sainsbury’s. The hotel is very clean. We booked a double room which was very basic and could do with updating. I didn’t drink or eat at the bar but the setup look good. Overall I would definitely stay here again for the location and friendliness of the staff"
