“We have always liked this BW and have stayed here many times. This time the room, and a room we were going to move to, were both very musty smelling. We were just there. In June and the rooms were not musty. The front desk did try to get us another room but it was musty also. The staff though makes the hotel! They are all great, especially the lady that takes care of the breakfast area. They are all very courteous and kind.”

“As a Hilton Honors member, I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties and found this to be one of the best! The location is right in the heart of town, the rooms were spacious with tons of little spaces for storage and the kitchenette space with fridge and microwave made for easy meals when we needed them. “The room was fine. Built in 1904 so it is what you would suspect. Pool was full of leaves. The caretaker greeted us and told us she would prepare breakfast (frittatas etc) for us and we would eat around 8:30am-9:00am. We were downstairs around 8:30 and no sight of anyone. Two other couples came down and we waited until 9:45am. There was no “we are working on it or anything”. Actually no noise from the kitchen at all. All three couples left looking for breakfast.
