Best Resorts in Puerto Rico

"We had an amazing time staying at LaConcha. The service and property were incredible. It’s in a central location walkable to so many restaurants and the restaurants onsite were all fantastic. "

"The lobby and resort are very nice. My 3rd floor ocean view, was a peek at the ocean after mostly a dirty, garbage polluted roof. The room was very musty smelling and was startled by a couple of cockroaches. The balcony was dirty, and the shower has no divider, so the bathroom floods. The lighting was dim and yellow in the bathroom. They need to update this room. The property is nice, great beach, pools and places to lounge. Get a spot early though, they fill up fast. "

"from the dining, to the pools, waterpark, the clubs and our room was all perfect. Clean, comfortable. Everyone was friendly and provided exceptional service. Entertainment was fun, enjoyed the dancing. Walkable to some local restaurants. "

"We enjoyed our stay. Wasn’t sure what to expect from a Courtyard but it was a beautiful property. Lobby was nice, as was the pool and beach. There was a bistro and bar in the lobby, a sit down restaurant and a more casual bar restaurant in addition to the pool/bar. There were food options but we would have preferred a bit more variety at dinner, seems lunch time had more options available. If you want a great ocean view, book ocean front not ocean view. We had an oceanfront room and the view was great. The room was very nice with comfy beds. Needed more outlets around the bed. We loved our ocean front balcony. You are right near the airport. You do hear planes when at the beach or pool but it isn’t too bad. I. The room our balcony had a double glass sliding door which helped with noise. The room air conditioner was very loud. I am a light sleeper and I could still sleep but it made us keep tv on loud to hear it and it also drowned out airplane noise. We would likely stay here again if we are visiting the area again in the future. "

"Staff was helpful in moving us to a different room after we noticed there was a window in the shower with nothing covering it. (visible to outside) Helpful also in getting us into room early and offered to let us stay past 12:00 the following day. Good breakfast, somewhat pricey, but they gave us a $25 coupon to use, so that paid for half of breakfast for 2 people. Building is old, but clean."

"Pros: The breakfast, included with stay, was fresh and offered a nice variety. The pool area was nice and the pool was clean and refreshing. (They had a cute kids area, too, which is a perk for traveling families with littles). The outdoor area had large Jenga blocks which was fun at the end of a long evening. The staff were helpful for answering questions and providing extra towels,etc when needed. Cons: The location was ok. Yes, walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants, but not too much (other than that around), so we did Lyft to other areas (e.g. Old San Juan, Conado) which were not too far or expensive to get to. The biggest con was the 45 dollar per day "travel fee" which I guess we missed in the fine print (and which adds up). With that fee, they offer credits to the dainty market and bar, but you always ended up spending more with tax etc, so felt scammy. They also have a strict policy with breakfast- you can't take any back to your room, yet there weren't aleays enough tables to sit at with your group to eat it. They had someone literally stand at the entrance with a rope to block off the area. Kind of "extra." Finally, the room keys stopped working a few times and we had to wait in lines (after the pool) to get new ones which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, a decent stay- pros and cons everywhere you go. "
