“Large room with beautiful views”

No batter for the waffle maker… breakfast sausage definitely recooked/ overcooked. In comparison to the AmericInn we stayed at in Manitowoc last month which was a strong 9, this was a 4 and that’s being generous. “My friends and I stayed for a weekend getaway and we were impressed by the decor and how charming the hotel was! The adjoining rooms aren't very big and there is one mini fridge for both rooms but we were able to make it work. The staff was all very nice and their private beach was great.”

“Hotel is right on the riverwalk which is cool. Our room was clean and comfortable. They had some cool amenities for guests (bar and nice lounge) but we didn’t use them. Breakfast was very limited!”

“The entire property was lovely, we had access to all amenities and there were shuttles that took us to all restaurants and the Sports core. Our room was clean and loved the bathroom! A very nice breakfast was included and coffee available all day. Happy hour offered a free beer or glass of wine and a full bar to purchase a drink. The staff was extremely helpful. They are expanding this property and it looks fantastic”

“Very comfortable room and nice hotel . My only complaint is about Expedia! It’s impossible to have a live conversation if you have to make an adjustment to the reservation. The only option is a AI chatbot or a Chat with an agent after working your way through the Chatbot . Better to book directly with Holiday Inn Express. Even then, I couldn’t talk directly to the Hotel and could only talk to the corporate customer service representatives. But at least I could have a real conversation with them.”

“I reserved a Basic Room, 2 Queen Beds for 2 nights, 34 days in advance. I paid $10 per night for the extra Queen bed, as I am a FEMALE travelling with a MALE first cousin. When we checked in, there was NO ONE in the office and we were told that the door was open and our key was in the room. We went in and discovered only ONE bed. So we called the number on the office door, and were told that the room with one bed is all they had available. If we wanted to wait until someone could come from……

“Room was comfortable, clean, quiet and well-maintained. I found the bed to be comfortable and I slept well. The location was convenient, especially with the laundromat across the parking lot. I worked early hours so I was unable to take advantage of the breakfast. The pool looked clean as well. Would stay again in the future.”
