“Friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The bedding could use a refresh and more comfortable pillows. It was nice to have a place to store our bikes. We enjoyed the lounge at night with helpful and knowledgeable bartenders. It was bit bright for our liking but had comfortable seating. Decorah is always a beautiful town to visit. The hotel is a convenient and comfortable place to stay.”

“Plastic toilet seat moved. Not very clean around back of toilet. VERY low toilet for adult to use. Desk attendant very helpful rebooting the tv so it would work right.”

“We booked to get out in nature and unwind. This property checked the boxes. It’s something different and location was great. There are a lot additional fees that drive the cost up. While it was nice to feel secluded away from people, the porta potty was from the 80s and pretty gross. We would have had more room in a tent and would have been much cheaper.”

“This was a gorgeous and well located place to stay. The owners are very communicative and friendly, the food menu unique and large and the other guests seemed to enjoy their time here as well. It’s a quiet and peaceful place for our anniversary getaway. Thanks guys!!! Only certain rooms have certain amenities though so be sure to book the room that suites your needs.”

“The prairie and stream were beautiful. We loved the outdoor covered deck and the 3 season enclosed porch. Everything was clean. The fishing was good for the amount of rain we had.”

“This was a beautiful place. We really enjoyed it.The 10 AM checkout was rough for us. That was the only thing -we would’ve hoped for a 12 PM instead.”

“Love the location of this place with it being right downtown and close to a few places to eat. That being said, traffic can get a little loud! Comes as a warning that there are stairs…they are definitely more difficult when having to carry luggage up/down them, so take that into consideration if you’re bringing a lot. We were only there one night and our kids are old enough to help so it was fine. Not sure that the air was working great - would have liked it a little cooler while sleeping....
