"We just stayed for one night, but had a great stay. The home is beautiful, extremely clean and was a very comfortable arrangement for our extended family. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking in the Gorge and for stargazing after a wonderful birthday dinner in Hood River. Woke up and relaxed for an hour before taking off to enjoy the Fruit Loop! Wonderful mini vacation and birthday celebration!"

"The staff both in the lobby as well as the restaurant were cordial and polite. Made my stay enjoyable. Will definitely stay there again. The convenience of having a restaurant and saloon on site makes for an easy stay when in town for work. "

"Great property and half the rooms have a view of the Columbia River close up. Shopping is across the freeway but only 3 minutes away in Hood River. White Salmon on the Washington side is just across the bridge and Trout Lane and Mt. Adam’s is a short drive away. "

"We enjoyed the historic character of the building. The old bathroom mirror was designed for much taller people, but these minor quirks didn’t bother us. Be prepared to park on the street. Street parking is free in the evening, but will start up at 8 am. Beds were comfortable. We stayed midweek in May and didn’t experience any problems with noise."
