"We stayed over here a couple of nights for tourism after coming from a business conference. The location is great - about a 20 minute walk to the D.C. mall and museums (or about a 5 min walk to the metro if preferred). Hotel is well kept, clean, fairly impressive free breakfast, and nice staff. Only minor gripe is that the A/C was a little loud but not not enough to really detract from overall experience. We would definitely consider coming back here for future trips to D.C."

"This was the 4th hotel we tried. Expedia let us book on the website and when we got there they were actually sold out. Huge back and force with your company wanting to repay us with room points or have the hotel directly pay us back even though they made no mistake. Ridiculous argument that did NOT need to happen. As we were searching for yet another hotel, a room opened up here and they let us stay. As we went to bed you STILL had rooms posted there as available on your site and would not...

"Appreciated free parking in the garage. Our room was very clean."

"This hotel is up to the standards of this national chain. The staff was pleasant, room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was nice with plenty of coffee. There is a walking path to "Old Town" right outside the hotel. While the hotel is located right along the highway, the signage for the entrance could be more visible as it was easily missed in the evening, taking one directly onto route 95. It is very convenient for visit to Mount Vernon."

"Room was a suite and was very spacious and clean. Free breakfast was full hot breakfast with numerous options. Check in was very slow and the furniture in reception area needs to have thecupholstery cleaned or replaced. Bad initial look to a very nice hotel at a good price. "

"Well maintained older property that was renovated in the past couple of years. Convenient location to DC, quick drive to the metro. One thing to be aware of, this property is very popular with tour groups, truck drivers and work crews, that can result in crowded breakfast times so late arrivals will likely have to park in a distant part of the lot as the numerous tour busses and trucks each take up multiple parking spaces. "

"I really liked the sterile smell of the beds and bathroom. However, The bathroom floors were slimy and covered in an oil. The breakfast could also incorporate more variety of fresher foods. The windows outside the front of the hotel have a rust that drips. There’s also cracked glass on the left side of the glass roof. (Facing the front head on it would be on the right side in the corner ) Small touches would go a long way. "

Although the room was right spartan, it was clean, quiet, and safe. there was no service unless we asked for it, and the room was not cleaned during our 4 night stay. It is a 5 minute walk from a bus stop and 4 stops from the Huntington Metro station. There is a sub shop across the street that had tasty food. "
