“The price was discounted, so that needs to be taken into consideration. That being said, the property is vastlly understaffed as far as cleaning the rooms are concerned. They were still hard at work late in the afternoon, trying to get the rooms cleaned. Two of the three hot tubs were not working properly, but the one that did work, was quite comfortable. The breakfast fare was standard -- just a step above a "little Debbie and glass of Tang". We were definitely left to our own devices, as……

“Rooms were nice and clean except the shower still had some hair in it. Breakfast was minimal. Overall it was clean and quiet and comfortable. Nice kitchen area to make one's own meals as well.”

“Air conditioning taped together and not cooling, linens were dirty and couldn’t get swapped out. Asked for garbage and towels to be switched and was told they didn’t have time. They have not tried to fix, and never cleaned or gave new towels over 4 days stay. Find a different hotel in Pierre”

“The room was clean, however it did have a dingy smell. Lady at the front desk was not the nicest person but then she wasn’t the worst either. It was fine for 1 night”

“A fantastic place all around. Comfortable clean and with real old fashioned keys! Half the price as the chains and just as nice. I’ve never encountered such a friendly staff. This place is family run and they were all so pleasant. Safe parking and decent breakfast. On my list to stay again when in Eastern South Dakota”
