“I absolutely love the Marshall house and I will continue to stay there when I’m in Savannah. The staff is extra nice, so special, the breakfast is free and they have so many choices. They also have a lovely wine reception every night in a historic sitting room. Centrally located to all of the things you want to see in Savannah. A former military hospital, It’s part of the historic tours and an exciting place to stay. Much quieter than staying on the riverfront which is a little wild at night.”

“I wanted to start by sharing a quick story. On August 16th, 2025 I proposed to my now wife on the riverwalk near the WWII Monument. After we got engaged, we decided to come back to Savannah to get married at the Forsythe Park Fountain on June 23rd, 2026. On both occasions we stayed at the East Bay Inn and the staff, and everyone just made our visits the best you can get in Savannah. “Great place that just exudes the history and romance of Savannah. The staff was fantastic, starting with our late arrival, and during our stay. Breakfasts were delicious and huge, with options for just some grab and go. Location was great - close enough to wonderful restaurants and Forsyth Park, yet just enough away from traffic and noise. “We loved the layout of 3 bedroom apartment and it was beautifully decorated. I like that the parking was secured and each resident had assigned parking which is included in the rental rate. The only concern that we had is that the centralized trash dump was not picked up and emptied in timely manner . Also, we had some issues in securing the front door lock. However, when we brought our concerns to the management they responded in a timely manner. The neighborhood was nice and accessible to……

“The corner room is noisy at night- there were many people gathering near the hotels till 1 or 2 am and you could hear them. There was an Irish bar across from the hotels which you would hear the music playing at night. There was coffee stain in the carpet of the room I stayed. The hotel has good hospitality and the bed was comfortable. ”
