"Casa Donceles was the perfect for my family to stay in the center of Mexico City! Communication was excellent. Great location, right near all the points of interest historic center. Lots of good cafes and restaurant within close walking distance. Modern up-to-date décor in a historic building with lots of charm. Beds and linens were very comfortable. "We enjoyed our stay at Casa Sauto. The location was great, and the view from the roof was amazing. This was an interior suite without exterior windows, so there wasn't a lot of natural light. The 2 "bedrooms" are actually one big room with a bathroom built in-between. "We really loved our stay at Barcelo. We had booked the premium accommodation and were really appreciative of the perks, such as snacks, buffet, welcome drinks and even one item laundered for free. The staff were pleasant and the food spread was great. The property is walking distance from Zocalo and one of our hop on and hop off bus stops was also a few hundred feet away only. We had a bit of an incident on one of the days when we took a cab from the vendor outside the hotel who lost his way and made us miss our day tour. He was exceptionally rude and tried to blame us back instead. The Hotel concierge Jorge tried to sort the issue out but the this cab syndicate refused to budge, so he helped us set up a different tour on the house, which was very kind of him and we really appreciated it. My advice would be to give the cab vendors outside the hotel lobby a miss (call an uber instead) but definitely stay at the property as it was excellent on its own. "
