"We had a great stay at Mapache. The private room was spacious and clean. The staff were lovely and helpful. We also loved the daily activities and the small breakfast included was a bonus. Would recommend Mapache to anyone staying on Holbox. I've only just found out the Mapache means racoon though! "

"Overall the resort was lovely! The staff was amazingly helpful and kind, the food was great and the room was nice and cool! Our main issue was this weird little area in the bottom pool of the infinity pool where there is a gap between the edge of the pool and a ledge. My daughter, who is only two, fell into this gap and sunk into water way over her head. Luckily I was right there and grabbed her, but there was no signage or warning at all that there was a risk here. "

"The experience and atmosphere was fun and friendly. All the amenities and pools were in a somewhat localized area so it’s easy to learn the ground. Spa was \*chef’s kiss\*. The food was pretty good as well. Room Service was FAST. The hotel rooms need a little maintenance; for instance a little rusting around the light fixtures and tub and the Sky Lounge planks need replacing. I didn’t get the wine pairing at SHE that I was promised but the food was good. "

"nice property , be aware of the ALL INCLUSIVE OPTIONAL ... I har red reviews previously posted so i know i made sure i picked the All inclusive option just to be told at check in i didnt have it . I tripled check i picked it bit Expedia nost have a glitch ( as i was told) long story short i had to buy the all inclusive at the resort when i could have booked a different resort that had all inclusive at the same price. Expedia is no help , they always have issues when it comes to costumer service its a joke "
