"We absolutely loved our stay at The Cove. It was so convenient with just a short walk to the main streets, and right across the street from the beach. The whole place was very cozy and tastefully decorated. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. They even had some very cozy robes for use. I especially appreciated the Kerig coffee machine that was stocked with plenty of sugar and creamer. There is also a nook in the stairway that has more if needed. Small refrigerator in the room, with the use of a microwave in the nook. I also thought it was so nice that they provided complimentary fruit, chips, cans of soda and juice. Free parking was,available and also very convenient. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect place"

"My experience was absolutely amazing! The balcony was so roomy and comfortable, the afternoon tea and cookies were delicious, being able to sit in chairs and on benches across the road iverlooking the ocean was absolutely gorgeous, the spinach and feta croissants and the ham and cheese croissants and blueberry coffee cake for breakfast were very delicious. The staff were super welcoming and very helpful."

"The only challenging thing was the weather! Phil was a fine host; the location is lovely. It is not at all accessible, so keep that in mind. We were in Gloucester to explore the outdoors, and Phil had a well-stocked 'things to do' binder, which we used. "

There is no front desk service -- all communication with our hosts was done through text messaging, but they were quick to respond, and our room was made up daily. The room was lovely and very comfortable. No breakfast or food on site, but there are good dining options a short walk into town. Great location for exploring the waterfront and downtown Rockport!"
