“It was a 2 bedroom apartment on the middle east side of the island and it was perfect for our family!!! Spacious, clean, comfortable, your own balcony, easy check in and check out. Worth the money! Not near the busyness of town but not far either. ”

“A hidden gem nestled away in the middle of the island, away from the bustle of the north beaches, but not too far to get in/out of town. The house was well appointed, the pool was excellent and the service provided by Mariana was excellent. ”

“While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again.”

“Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart……

“Overall, this was a beautiful stay. The beds were very comfortable, the space was roomy, and everything was clean. The area itself is lovely and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive and quick to reply whenever I had questions or concerns, which I really appreciated. A few things to note: there were no paper towels, garbage bags, or washcloths provided, and there were no chairs on the decks. The water was a bit inconsistent at times, and the apartment was difficult to find initially. One of……

“This was the first time I've stayed mid-island and I really liked it. It is a little gated compound with beautiful gardens, a nice little pool, and tons of shaded seating areas. Cold air, pretty good bed and great little kitchenette for longer stays. There MIGHT be 10 rooms total at this property. Very quiet and restful! Short walk to grocery store (Chedraui) and lots of good restaurants and light tourist shopping. Will stay there again, I spoke with guests who have been staying there for……

“The condo did have 3 bathrooms, for the 3 bedrooms. The views were great. The beds were confortable, and the bar downstairs was fun. However it was noisy as your right on the road, but anywhere on the island is noisy if you want to be on the water. The pool upstairs was great for sunbathing.”
