“Potholes in the parking lot, big enough to swallow a small car was our first impression. Rolled up carpet as soon as you pass through the small lobby. Elevators were out of order and have been for a long period of time. Was not notified of that at check-in. I ran to Tops to get my own cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom. No towels in room at check-in. Day two came back with a handwritten note saying to call the front desk for towels because they are being washed. With all the other hotels……

“It was such a great gateway! We loved every second of it. And especially my dog who could run around. We explored a pond and a trail in the forest! Overall was so peaceful. A recharge much needed. It was a bit cool outside and so cozy in the cabin. There’s everything that you need there. Portable water. There’s a grill you can make food or just heat it on the stove. Hopefully, we’ll be able to come back. Thank you for amazing experience!”

“I traveled with my dog and was with her 100% of the time. The owner claimed my dog damaged his property -yet didn't even state what damage was supposedly done. Clearly, he was just trying to milk me for more money. I highly recommend staying away from this property. Frankly, the amount charged was way too much to begin with. Stay here at your own risk.”

“Property description was great, all updated appliances, very cozy & relaxing. Cabin is close location to Allegany Reservoir. I will book this cabin again when I return to Pennsylvania.”

“Everything about this place was wonderful for us! We were there to see the Kinzua Bridge, Elk spotting and star gazing and this location was spot on. The amenities of the property made the vacation better than we imagined. The open field was huge bonus, beautifully surrounded with the fall foliage and stunning at night! Thank you to our host Chris for the timely responses, we had a perfect 4 day adventure!”

“Had a wonderful time at Bear Trail Lodge. The location is perfect for enjoying wildlife from the extensive wrap around porch. We saw plenty of bear, deer and smaller wildlife during our stay. The owner answered questions promptly and accurately.”
