“The Ithaca had caught a fire so they moved me to the meridian hotel, which was nice! Staff were great surroundings were beautiful only problem that I had was it was no elevator and no microwave in the rooms.”

“The sanitation is very clean and the environment is very good, but I can't find my toothbrush and slippers.”

“Pros: Nice small boutique hotel with beautiful rooms. The restaurant is fantastic. Across the street is $20 parking for 24 hours. The pool at the sister hotel is great if you can get a lounge chair in the shade. They clean the room each day. Location is perfect for walking north, south or to the beach. Alfonso is the best. Cons: 35$ Fee for beach use umbrella/lounge chair. No iron/board in room. No large mirror in room ( to see if my shoes match my outfit ). No breakfast. Our room faced Collins……

“The stay was great — a clean, convenient apartment in a good location. Hot water was limited each day, but never uncomfortably cold. The pull-out couch was a bit old and raggedy, though still comfortable, and honestly that summed up the whole place: a little worn around the edges, but clean and well maintained. If you’re after something elegant, this isn’t it — but for a reasonably priced, no-frills stay, it delivered. I’d stay here again.”

“We only stayed for one night before driving down to the keys for my birthday but we really enjoyed our stay at The Local House. All of the staff were incredibly kind and they even blew up balloons and decorated our room for my birthday. Considering how busy the area was, the rooms were incredibly quiet and the bed was super comfortable. The only complaint we would have is that the bathrooms are slightly outdated in comparison to the bedrooms but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and……
