“The Julia is a quiet location on a partying beach! The place is clean. The a/is a 10/10. It’s blocks from The beach. Shopping and restaurants. We used public transport and it was easy to navigate. It looked like a few parking spots were on the street and a lot close by.”

“I can recommend this place. The place has been an absolute god send. I arrived here for my Mom's hospital appointment never thinking much about it but staff here have accommodated us at every turn. From a broken sofa we got an upgrade which was fabulous. Mom was admitted as an emergency extending our stay and staff were amazing throughout the entire trip managing to accommodate us for an extra week. All the staff from maintenance man ,cleaning staff and Elizabeth the manager have been amazing.……

“The Ithaca had caught a fire so they moved me to the meridian hotel, which was nice! Staff were great surroundings were beautiful only problem that I had was it was no elevator and no microwave in the rooms.”

“The sanitation is very clean and the environment is very good, but I can't find my toothbrush and slippers.”

“The hotel was fine. The thing I would change would be to either put a microwave in every room (there already a refrigerator in the room) or one microwave per floor. You had to go up to the rooftop to use the one microwave. Granted, the hotel is only 4 flights but having to go upstairs every time to warm something up was tedious.”

“What an amazing property! My spouse and I came for his birthday celebration and we had a time of our life. The hotel was in a convenient area, surrounded by restaurants and shops. The room is absolutely gorgeous, very well designed. The staff was extremely friendly and took care of everything we needed. Definitely 10/10.”

“Love the vibe!Our recent stay at this hotel was wonderful! From the time we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with the most warm and helpful staff! The front desk personnel Wardell was very accommodating and welcoming! We arrived very early from the airport and asked him if we could leave our bags until the check in time, and he was very kind enough to check if any room was available to accommodate us! He let us check in earlier than expected and we were able to rest and relax in our room……

“We only stayed for one night before driving down to the keys for my birthday but we really enjoyed our stay at The Local House. All of the staff were incredibly kind and they even blew up balloons and decorated our room for my birthday. Considering how busy the area was, the rooms were incredibly quiet and the bed was super comfortable. The only complaint we would have is that the bathrooms are slightly outdated in comparison to the bedrooms but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and……

“We had a couple of minor maintenance issues with our room and the staff was amazing as well as quick to get things fixed. The double bunk beds were a hit with our family and made for a fun week in Miami. Only suggestion would be adding a TV to the room for evening down time. That would have allowed my teenage boys something to do before bed. Thank you for a great stay! We will be back.”
