“We were lucky to find this gem when the Mount Pleasant area was sold out for CMU friends and family weekend. The cozy, quaint cabin met all our needs for the long weekend. Settled in a peaceful and quiet setting, the cottage was tastefully updated and clean. Definitely recommend this place!”

“10 out of 10! Husband and I and the girls (doggos) came up for the weekend. We always look for a cabin in the woods with no neighbors. This place exceeded our expectations. The pictures in the listing do not do it justice! We were definitely surprised with the above garage gameroom. Our kids would have loved all the games they had. “The property was beautiful and the hot tub was great. On top of that, the beach is a private little thing, only for certain residents in that area. There's a Putt putt place about half an hour out that's also really cool and fun. I will say, it's a little bit smaller than I expected (fully a me thing) and, if you wanted to sleep all 8 people, you would probably have to bring your own air mattress or two. “Very nicely furnished cozy cabin on the river with a great view in a quiet area. It is a bit of a walk down stairs to the river, but it's not too bad if you don't have mobility issues. Wood and a fire ring were provided. The main bedroom had a very comfy bed, and the 2nd bedroom had bunk beds. I would 100% recommend.”

“We had such a great time here for our anniversary! We took the kayaks out on the river, we floated in the tubes, we had brought our fishing poles and did some fishing and had a fire. It was so quiet and peaceful. Honestly I would’ve loved to stay longer there was no shortage of things to do. They had everything we needed there. “The only problems were the mouse who lives behind the refrigerator. The lighting for the bedrooms kind of worked, the bedside table lamps look nice just no power, they have wireless chargers on them yet no power to use it. The shower is a little odd as well. As it is so high that a shorter person can even reach it to adjust it. Everything else seemed fine.”

“This really is a hidden gem. I cannot wait to come back for another stay! I loved how private the area was (you could see one of the other VRBOs on the property, but would not be in each other's space). The tiny house was private and peaceful. I had good cell service (Verizon) and enjoyed exploring the small towns nearby. From deer to woodpeckers to rabbits and more, wildlife was abundant and beautiful. “We had four adults who stayed to bike on the trails that run right by the house. Renee did a great job making the house comfortable with lots of information on the local area. She had cold water in the refrigerator. Went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed the deck right on the river. Plenty of space for the four of is to relax. Would definitely recommend!”

“Very nice setting, plenty of space, the essentials needed were there. A washer and dryer would have been nice, because grandkids enjoyed it a lot more than I thought they would and got FILTHY,, playing in the woods, the sand, fire pit, and anything else they could find to get dirty. No luck fishing, but the deer, cranes, eagles and various other wild life, were everywhere.”
