“We had a wonderful time - the kids loved having a pool outside their door and pickleball court. The fishing spot was beautiful on the river. Near plenty of restaurants and some parks too. Heidi was a great host! ”

“We had a very pleasant stay. It was cozy and comfortable. It was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped and the essentials were supplied. It had a beautiful lake front view and very nice yard. We had kayaks and a canoe available to use and there was a family of swans that were beautiful to watch. I would like to note that there are lily pads/weeds that go about thirty feet out from shore, so it’s not very swimmable from shore. This didn’t affect us because we were swimming elsewhere or...

“The property was clean and designed well. The kids had fun fishing and kayaking in the lake. Overall, nice property.”

“We had the perfect summer weekend at Jackie & Jim's place! The lake house fit 3 adults and 1 toddler comfortably. The backyard was spacious enough for our daughter to run around and the neighbors were all so friendly. We loved the amenities at the property including the beach, lake, row boat, bonfire bit and grill. We couldn't have asked for a better host or Fourth of July weekend! ”

“This was a great property and fit our needs for a week long getaway on the lake. But also close to Grand Rapids for work and activities. Mike was very accommodating and will to help immediately with any questions. ”

“Communication with property manager was amazing. The outdoor grill was broken and Wally responded quickly and replaced the grill that day.The river was fun for tubing and if you love to fly fish we left a big brown trout there for you.We were disappointed that the outdoor balcony was under construction and we could enjoy our drinks overlooking the river. But, we enjoyed the patio and plenty of chairs to relax outside. ”

“We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was nice and cozy. The beds were comfortable. My only complaint would be the stairway is steep and a little scary going downstairs wirh anything in your hands. Overall, we had a great stay, ans would definitely stay again. ”

“Nice house lakeside to celebrate graduation from Calvin University. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking and the peddle boat. Enough equipment for all of us to be out on the lake at the same time. Brian was easy to talk with and had everything labeled nicely. Would stay again.”

“Lovely home! Mark, the host, was wonderful! He answered any and all questions quickly. The home was very clean and well equipped. We rented 4 properties on Gun Lake for family attending our daughter’s wedding. This property was by far the BEST! The power went out the night before the wedding and this property was equipped with a generator!! If I could give this property more stars I would!! The setting on the channel was so calm and peaceful. Access to the big lake was so convenient and close....

“Cottage owner was great! Met us there the first day; showed us around. Very spacious cottage; very clean. Does have lots of stairs and not much beach area; full of seaweed so not great for swimming right off the dock. Please note that the large windows are gorgeous and give a great view, but there are no window coverings so daylight comes in early each day. Cottage had a well stocked kitchen for all sorts of cooking/grilling. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay; would recommend!”
