“We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. “The Palmetto was a perfect spot! The lobby was welcoming and adorable, the location was perfect to explore the city by walking, and we took advantage of the bikes one morning! The rooms were clean and the layout was nice! The renovations were done very well and they maximized space in the rooms and lobby without making anything feel “small”. Everything was just what we needed for a fun and romantic stay in Charleston! ”
