I didn’t get any email and I got anxious when I didn’t get any instructions. I noticed the contact number provided was INVALID. The number was listed us 55555, a fake number. This host obviously doesn’t want anyone to call him/her for information/confirmation/questions. In the afternoon of the day, I got a message……

“Super tranquila nuestra estancia, muy segura y controlado el acceso, limpieza, instalaciones y equipamiento de la cocina suficiente para que prepares comida. La zona de alberca muy agradable y cuenta con elevador. Se encuentra relativamente 3 supermercados y estás a 2 calles del centro donde hay varios negocios de comida, telefonía, ropa, lavanderías. “Mareazul is a beautiful complex on the ocean w/ an enormous & unique pool. This apartment is one of the closest to the beach w/ amazing views from the master bedroom, living room, and multiple balconies. I moved the bed across the room (it was on wheels) to see the ocean from bed. We used the jacuzzi on the upper balcony with an ocean view (note, it's a jacuzzi tub that you fill. Not a hot tub). We ate at the main restaurant where I had an amazing fruity drink (wish I remembered the name)……

"This is the worst 5-star all-inclusive experience our family had during christmas. We did not have hot shower for three nights and the room has been freezing cold. We informed the hotel the first night and they kept sending maintenance people without fixing it. And whats worse, they did not really care about our problems. Everytime I called them, I need to explain the situation again. And what I got is 'we will send someone to fix' ' the hotel is fully booked so not possible to change the room' or 'this is the general problem'. The daily activities and restaurants are good but I think the room itself is the basic of which the problem and technicians visits, really bother our holiday mood."
