They work all night to make sure there is no sargassum and our 9 days were spent enjoying the bluest water ever!! The rooms are spectacular and the bed is to die for. We can’t wait to be back!!”

“The shoreline was very rocky, which made entering the water difficult. There was also a lot of seaweed, but the hotel staff diligently cleared it away, making our morning swims much more pleasant. The food was fresh and delicious, with a wide selection of fruits and vegetables. The rooms were clean, and the bed linen was fresh and clean as well. We had a wonderful time staying at the resort with our family.”

“Barcelo Maya Beach is much bigger than we had anticipated. The 4 beachfront Barcelo hotels share the common areas so we had access to many facilities. The food was good and the location is beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.”

“Really great place to visit. Staff was wonderful. If you had concerns , they would come to your room within minutes. We only had a couple of minor complaints. 1. The TV wouldn't hold a signal, couldn't watch it at night. 2. Our porch light only worked half of the time. 3.We didn't have a screen door (our neighbors did) to our walk out pool. Other than those issues, which did get fixed, it was great. ”

“It was really nice that they set up our room with a nice tray of fruit and a bottle of Brut Champagne 🍾 for being a vip guest. Then for my birthday 🎂 they set the room up with balloons, a bottle of wine, fruit tray, and meat & cheese tray, and made a heart shape on the floor with rose petals. They also left a bag for my birthday with a tee shirt, a small basket of Mexican candy, Riviera Maya refrigerator magnet, and a printed up birthday card with name on it. The Concierge Ali was very sweet……
