“This is the worst 5-star all-inclusive experience our family had during christmas. We did not have hot shower for three nights and the room has been freezing cold. We informed the hotel the first night and they kept sending maintenance people without fixing it. And whats worse, they did not really care about our problems. Everytime I called them, I need to explain the situation again. And what I got is 'we will send someone to fix' ' the hotel is fully booked so not possible to change the room'……

“The property was absolutely beautiful and clean. Our room was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing we didn’t love was that the shower is not separated by a wall. it’s in the room, so there really isn’t much privacy. The staff was very helpful and kind. The food wasn’t the greatest. It wasn’t bad, just average but there was plenty of it. Overall we had a great stay”

“Barcelo Maya Riviera is hands down our favorite of all inclusive resorts! We stayed in May and again last week. The service is wonderful, rooms lovely and large. Excellent AC and wifi. Plenty of restaurant options. We ate twice at other hotel restaurants( on the Barcelo resort)… but prefer the ones onsite at the Adults only Riviera section. The seaweed was much better contained and cleaned this trip. The pools were very nice… a bit warm though (90-93 F) However, the pool beside the……
