"This is a beautiful property and immediately upon entering you can see the effort the host has put in to make this a special place to stay. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about the property itself however…the neighborhood is full of barking dogs and because of the thatched roof it got so bad we both slept downstairs on the double couch. "Los domos son muy bonitos para fotografías, pero la realidad es que están muy descuidados. La chapa de la puerta está floja y cuesta trabajo cerrarla, los mosquiteros no están bien sellados, las llaves de la regadera no funcionan bien, había focos fundidos y que parpadeaban constantemente (no relacionado a la alimentación de luz solar, porque otros focos no parpadeaban). El hecho de que no hagan limpieza todos los días hace que la cantidad de bichitos sea muchísimo mayor que en otros glampings...

"It was affordable, very clean and efforts were always being made to maintain the property. Food was mediocre, but there were lots of choices which made up for it. Male bar staff by the pool were not super helpful/ or approachable , but female staff around the pool, on the beach and in housekeeping worked so hard and were nothing short of wonderful. Rosio and Fabi ans well as Abigail in cleaning were exceptional and were a big part of why I feel positively about the resort. "

"We booked a room called Junior Suite Standard. In pictures showed 2 beds or bed and a foldable sofa bed. We assumed that we can choose. When we arrived for our stay at the check in staff said we can only get the one with foldable sofa bed. After we arrived in our room foldable sofa was rusted, none functional. No sheets were given for it either. I tried to set it up and it was broken. We managed to get by during our stay. Was a bit disappointed since we specified it’s for 2 adults and 2 kids. Over all we loved our stay and enjoyed everything els. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Food was amazing. Drinks were great. To be honest i would give it 5 star if the bed wasn’t broken. "

"This was my second stay at the Hilton Mar Caribe Bay. and the service was excellent. This time the resort appeared much more crowded, and unfortunately the difference showed in the overall experience. Cleanliness around the property was inconsistent, with dishes and trash sometimes left unattended. My room was also not cleaned during the day until I requested it after returning around 3 PM. I paid for an Enclave expecting access to the Chala Lounge and the added privacy and services that come with that upgrade. However, the lounge was frequently closed for private events, which limited access during most of my five-day stay. Because of that, the Enclave upgrade did not provide the benefits I expected. That said, I do want to recognize a few outstanding staff members who made a positive impression: Reyes and Johanna near the pool, and Carlos in the Chala Lounge when it finally reopened toward the end of the trip. Their service was excellent. Overall, the resort is beautiful and the ocean views are wonderful, but during this stay the value of the upgraded room did not match the experience."
