Great hotel for the price near Downtown Seattle

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location, space, clean, comfortable
Location: Within a few miles of all downtown Seattle sites
The hotel staff was friendly and worked with me to get checked into my room early after getting off the cruise ship. The rooms were clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was beyond my expectations of fruit and pastries - hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, make your own waffles, warm oatmeal, etc....

Comfy hotel. Great value.

Location: Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Our favorites were Hurricane Cafe and Lunchbox Laboratory. Easy walk to the Space Needle too.
Stayed here for a convention we attended downtown. The half mile walk to the convention center wasn't too bad unless it was rainy or drizzly. In those cases, a Lyft or Uber ride was only about $4-$5 for both my husband and myself. The daily breakfast was pretty good, I just wish they'd had eggs more than one out of five mornings we were there. Overall it was a nice selection, though. There are several great restaurants in the area. Hurricane Cafe right across the alley was amazing and had great drinks in addition to their great food. We also ordered pizza and it was nice to have the fridge and microwave in our room for leftovers.

Good Location, A Bit Dated, But Worked For Us

Posted Sep 8, 2014
The front desk staff allowed us to check in early, which was great because our toddler was ready for a nap at 3PM that day. Location is really good and closer enough to Space needle (and monorail) to walk. Facilities are a bit dated, but I think all in all it was well worth the price to stay here.

Comfy Hotel close to Downtown Seattle

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable bed... good location
Cons: service staff needs to be retrained that they are in the customer service business.... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
Location: Space Needle in walking distance. Good local fair in walking distance... only about 20 minutes walking distance from Pikes Place and the water front
While the room was nice... The air conditioning was not working. The staff at the front desk was rude at best ... If you are looking for a nice bed, this hotel is it. If you are looking for decent location... this is it.... If you are looking for any positive customer service - STAY AWAY

Cheap and Cheerful?

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Definitely the staff and the excellent wifi.
Cons: Nothing it can help. Just a new restaurant or two within a short walk. That's out of their hands.
Location: It's a bit of a walk to the touristy stuff but if you're if you're there to conduct business in South Lake Union, it's brilliant.
This place is close to where I go for my sales call so I chose it online. I really like it! Sure the building is older and it's a bit of a walk to food/etc. but the staff more than make up for it. I also like the eco-friendly style that isn't just green-washing you see in some hotels. And for my line of work, the place has excellent wifi! Kinda crucial for me. Wifi and free breakfasts? I'll be back...

Great Location and Friendly Staff

Posted Aug 25, 2014
We had a great stay at the hotel. David, the front desk attendant was very friendly and very helpful. He explained on the map where all the great restaurants and attractions were located. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. The location was fantastic. It was in walking distance to the space needle and the tram to travel to Pike Place. It was also close to great restaurants. Great location without the high price of hotels close by.

Not worth the money

Bed was uncomfortable, too expensive in price for the location. Ice tasted like bleach water. Breakfast was good.
