Needed a hotel close to key arena.

Posted Oct 20, 2014
The hotel was on the cheaper side, so it was fine. It was clean, but on the older side. The view from our room was a brick wall. And parking was not included.

Good location, decent price

Posted Oct 16, 2014
This hotel was in downtown Seattle, very close to the Space Needle. Very decent price for the location. Nice hotel, no extras... But clean and does the job. Good complimentary breakfast.

Musty smelling room on first floor

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Price and smell of room.
Location: Wasn't there long enough to do anything. Just slept there one night.
Our check-in experience went ok. We were put on the first floor and when we opened the door, the room smelled very "musty", as if there were mold somewhere in the room. This appears to be an older hotel with low end features. Also, there was street noise outside our window. Thankfully, it was late, we were tired and the bed was comfortable. The morning breakfast buffet was good. Had to pay for hotel car to take us about 8 blocks. We would of walked but it was pouring rain and we had luggage.

Not the best at accommodating the disabled

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: The desk clerk who checked us in, David Ballantine, was very personable and helpful. Much friendlier face than most of the staff.
Cons: Better accommodation for handicapped. Perhaps be willing to juggle rooms a bit to accommodate. Adequate disabled parking that complies w/current code.
Location: Centrally located with a lot in walking distance. Great Korean restaurant across the street.
Was initially supposed to have two double beds and ended up with one queen. Hotel put us in a room right next to the elevator and vending machines and across from the laundry room. Vending machine compressors kept us up all night as well as folks coming and going. Only ONE handicapped parking space for the entire hotel. Was told at check-in that parking would be free since I had handicapped placard and parked either in handicapped space or space on other side of door. Was charged for the parking and when I mentioned it at checkout they said they would credit it back to my card which was never done. Mattress on the bed in our room was badly broken down. Bathroom was not handicap accessible which I had requested in my booking. TV reception was poor to non-existant.

Convenient Location from Seattle University

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: The check in experience was very easy, the check out too. The breakfast was actually pretty good:).
Cons: Fix the equipment in the exercise room please!!
Location: Convenient to The Space Needle and Pike Place Market, and Seattle University.
My family and I stayed here for the weekend to take my son to college at Seattle University. It was convenient. Juli (not sure of her name) was very pleasant and accommodating upon our late check in on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014. Juli at front desk worked the graveyard shift and I would like to commend her for outstanding service. The only two things that need attention are the water pressure in our bathroom and the gym equipment. The sink and shower faucets had very low pressure. It took us longer than normal in the bathroom. Being that we were only at your hotel for a few days, we dealt with it. As far as the exercise room, the eliptical machines do not work properly:(. Please have someone fix them! We will be back to visit my son and plan to stay at this Best Western. Please fix the water pressure in our room as well as the eliptical machines.
