Lake Tarpon resortPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Location, and lobby, and room, and SIZE of room. Deluxe room at economy price. LOVE it.
Cons: Get more customers
Location: Tarpons springs near by and other places of high interest.
Loved this place and was surprising and pleasant. You know it is nice from the road. Step inside the lobby and your room and you will know it is great. Best sleeping place we had in a one week journey on the road.

Had basic needs nothing morePosted Jun 23, 2014
Left the hotel staff is friendly and was going to get us our keys. However once we get one room was a bit disappointing. Room was supposed to have a Jacuzzi Style tub however wasn't normal bathtub. Furniture and amenities were all outdated. Was offered to upgrade to a room with refrigerator for five dollars and poolside for 10. Breakfast consisted of prepackaged pastries some bagels and the juice machine was not working at the time. We paid $75 and I would only stay if it was half that I just need a place to stay for the night.

Nothing special.Posted Jun 6, 2014
I stayed do 2 nights. While I had nothing that disappointed me thee was nothing that impressed me. If anything the lack of a refrigerator and the below par breakfast disappointed me.

The Don't Care Attitude ResortPosted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: I liked that its on a lake.. and the view is nice
Cons: They could try to keep the rooms cleaner..
Location: Since we were there for a 90 year birthday celebration we didn't have a chance to check out local attractions.
I was not impressed with the girl that checked us in.. She seemed to be in another world and frankly I heard her tell the people prior to us about some things they may need as guests yet when I was checked in she didn't both to mention anything, like about the use of the internet.. She left out some very important information for me, if I had not overheard her when the people before me were being advised on how to get on their wifi I would of never known. How I have been to this hotel as a guest for dinner with my relatives, rented platoon boats for pleasure rides and dined in their restaurant.. There is no room service for food, there is no restaurant, there is no bar by the pool or Jacuzzi.. This place is turning into a dive and the people who work there seem to be in another world. We were woken at 2:30 in the morning by people banging, pushing and opening our door. Yes they got the door open but they couldn't get in because I had the safety latch in place, so these people were upset, understandably so, that they couldn't get in their room. This Resort did nothing about upsetting our sleep and they just didn't care. A small discount for lack of sleep would of been nice so instead I'll report this place to everyone who wants to go there. I will never go back... There is nothing there and it is no longer a resort... is a tourist trap with uncaring personnel.

CANNOT CALL IT A RESORT!!Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: BED WAS COMFORTABLE.
Cons: NEW TV NEEDED. CARPET LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BENN THERE FOR 30 + YEARS.
Location: LOCATION IS THE ONLY THING WE CAN RATE ABOVE AVERAGE.
NO RESTAURANT OPEN. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS HORRIFIC. NO MILK FOR CEREAL, NO MILK OR CREAM FOR COFEE. TOLD FRONT DESK & SHE SAID IT WAS ON ITS WAY. WAITED 15 MINUTES, FINALLY LEFT AND WENT TO IHOP.

Cons: The sheets could be dryer
Location: Close to a golf club.
Nice building right on highway, but all windows face backyard overlooking mini-marina. Nice decor, large balconies, pleasant staff.

Nice place to stay right on US-19Posted May 11, 2014
Pros: Good price. Convenient location. Value for the amount. Comfortable room with a balcony. Good bed and furniture. Fridge was provided. Good staff.
Cons: The continental breakfast was NOT at all adequate. There was no bread, no cereal selections, and the coffee was okay.
Location: Golf course, shopping near by. Multitudes of restaurants near by. Good location.
The place was quite good. The price was reasonable. The advantage of being right on US-19 also made the place noisy since there were quite a lot of traffic on US-19 (you give up something to get nice place to stay). The room was comfortable (fortunately there was a buffer between the beds and the road making it quiet during sleep). The beds were comfortable and bathroom was adequate. The continental breakfast was NOT adequate. There was not even bread. They only provided bagels. There were no cereals and one day even the orange juice ran out.

Do not trust housekeepingPosted May 6, 2014
Pros: Close to Tarpon Springs
Cons: Hire new housekeepers.
My wife had $400US stolen from her overnight bag by housekeeping. They also stole a few prescription pills from her pill case. The owner was quite nice about it and refunded 65% of our stay.

The price was right.Posted Apr 27, 2014
Pros: That it had a balcony even though ours looked out over cement.
Cons: The Continental breakfast needs to be improved. Stale bagels, etc. The buzzer in bathroom buzzed all nite & most lights wouldn't turn on.
Location: Next to a very busy interstate. Traffic noise was terrible.
Needed somewhere just to sleep at night.Spent the days with relatives. Because of the Expedia price this was an acceptable place to stay. It had no frills but met our needs.

Nice hotel with a view of the water.Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The cost of the room was reasonable. The room was large, and the balcony looking out on the waterway was nice.
Cons: The breakfast needs improving.
The "breakfast" was one of the worst I've encountered at a place that says it has a breakfast.
