“The room to my door was about a half inch off at the bottom around the frame. So I could see out into the hallways and vice versa. Also my fire alarm would go off every time I took a shower because of poor ventilations in the bathroom.”

“The good thing about the property is that it's right on Ocean boulevard and it overlooks the beach. So we had a room with a balcony and of course waking up to the oceans. You in the morning is fantastic. The building is kind of run down. And not at all what it look like when I booked it. I think it's good if you have little kids because they have a saltwater pool and they're right on the beach and it's near a lot of things in North Myrtle Beach.”

“We booked having no clue about North Myrtle Beach or the area, and the gamble was worth it. While not a 5-star resort, the Avista has a great location and beach access and close enough to restaurants and attractions to make it worth it. I would recommend one of the ocean front rooms higher up the building (greater than floor 8).”

“It's not bad, but I think they should update the amenities more often (water faucets, mattresses, and televisions). They're really outdated. They make too much money, and I didn't sleep very well in their beds during my stay.”

“Traveled over 11 hours went to check in clerk didn’t even recognize me gave him my last name. He said he canceled the reservation due to no credit card on file reservation was made through Expedia had to give a credit card to the clerk so he could pre-authorize for the five 5 nights first room that I was given was under construction had to go back down to get another room that room was OK. Spoke to the GM in the morning. His excuse was that there was five Christopher‘s that checked in that……

“The home was located in a nice peaceful neighborhood. It was close to many stores and restaurants. The cleanliness of the home was very nice, all amenities provided were greatly appreciated and better than expected. I would love to rent this property again if it's available when we come back to Myrtle Beach.”
