It was a wonderful experience staying at the St. Francis. WE really loved learning about all the history that occurred there, and being in an area that was so convenient to restaurants and shopping. We especially enjoyed the wine tasting with Chateau Montelena since that is one of our favorite wineries. ...
The Fairmont San Francisco has such a storied past yet has all the modern amenities you need. I stayed there for my buddy's wedding and I fell in love with my room on the 21st floor that had a panoramic view of some of the best of San Francisco including the Bay Bridge and Coit Tower. The staff went ...
The lobby was very elegant and fancy and the amenities in the room are almost complete (no tootbrush, however) but I do find that majority of western hotels doesn’t have complimentary toothbrush. My biggest complain would be the staffs. I called a day before my trip to ask for questions regarding ...
the Handlery is a family owned hotel, and it has just enough of everything to please a traveller. The hotel is not big, which is nice, the rooms are clean, and relatively up to date. If you are expecting a grand lobby, and ultra modern amenities, don't stay here, but if you like friendly service, ...
Had a wonderful week long stay at the Chancellor. Staff were awesome and the lobby coffee machine flowed 24 hours. Cable car is right outside the front door and garage parking is one block up. One and only complaint, no Air Coditioning. Not a deal breaker in SFO due to the average weather but room ...
My WWII parents stayed at the Mark Hopkins in 1947 when my war bride mother arrived from Sydney, Australia. I had always wished to see for myself the inside of this hotel. It was charming, and the staff very helpful. George, the concierge, was especially helpful.
This hotel is a wonder. Beautifully decorated in French style with intricate and lovely medieval paintings decorating almost every surface. Rooms are gracious and comfortable; reception and lounge are personal and homey; Restaurant Jeanne d'Arc in the downstairs is spectacular. Breakfast (included) ...
Room was pretty tiny. Bathroom was EXTREMELY SMALL. If your a bit on the bigger side you probably won't be able to fit into the space where they have the toilet.
The hotel was close to the BART, cable cars, and union square. The room was small and they were doing construction on its in house restaurant, but the staff was pleasant.
Wow, wow, wow. Great hotel and staff. Will be back to this place. Staff can't do enough for you and the rooms a neat. Highly recommend. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance.
This hotel is conveniently located close to Chinatown and Union Square. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful and accommodating. They let us leave our bags in the hotel lobby for the entire day, and even provided locks for our bags, while we went out to explore the city after checking ...
Beautiful facility. Very clean. Excellent service. Best coffee. Great location-very close to Union Square, fine restaurants, cable cars, and BART access. My only concern was the rooms are very small and may not be comfortable for long stays.
The hotel was easy to find from Powell Street station. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who was having technical issues with the computer when we arrived and unable to check us in straight away. She was very apologetic and offered us a glass of wine while we waited to get into our room ...
NIce room, Large and spacious, only down fall was we were on the 7th floor, it was so hot and they only had a ceiling fan, NO AIR CON. Its near the tenderloin area, which is the homeless area. Its a bit of an eye opener.
