“Sweet little cabin”

“Meadowbrook Inn is within walking distance of so many stores, restaurants and a wonderful park. Parking was not an issue and the rooms were very spacious (we had a king suite) and clean. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and even had a craft table near the lobby for the kids. Coffee bar in the lobby was nice as was availability of beer and wine to purchase. The pool was nice with towels provided. Will stay here whenever we are in the area.”

“The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. He tried to get us a room close to everything and was very nice to work with. But we ended up with a handicapped room and the only thing different was that it had a chair to use in the bathtub. The walls were patched up in the bathroom and the toilet seat was very low. He also let us know that the pool was not available because they were in the process of getting it inspected. This was very inconvenient because it was very hot that……

“This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside……

“The place was very clean with a full kitchen, comfortable bed, access to a large number of tv channels, and a nice living area. Not being particularly technologically savvy, it took some time to figure out the check in, especially since there is no check in staff. The tub sides were quite high and the shower lacked stabilizer bars, which made older folks like myself feel a bit unstable. The shower floor could get slick and result in a fall if not careful. Going up and down stairs was not bad;……
