“Elevator new but broken. Restaurant and bar closed for at least a year for renovation. I knew that part because I read the Big bend Sentinel but other travelers complained that it had not been divulged when booking. Disappointing. A discount should be given to those who book during this time or they should be given discount vouchers to use at St George bar and restaurant during the remodel.”

“Not a lot of options in Marfa, but this place had what we needed. Mostly in the form of cold A/C. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Room was updated and clean. You're a few minutes from everything in Marfa, makes a great base from which to explore.”

“This hotel is great for a place to stay for a night. No extravagant amenities, but met our needs for one night stay. It is not in town but close enough if you have a car to get to everything. Hot shower, very clean room and has soap and shampoo, and clean towels. Fridge and microwave for convenience. Hotel staff was very nice at check in.”

“Just the right mix of modern design and vintage decor elements. In person vibe as cool as in the instagram shots. I stayed in #4 which was one of smaller rooms and it was still awesome. Loved the in room "bar" area with fridge, sink and plates. I've stayed at 3 different Marfa hotels and this is def my favorite. Things to be aware of: no TV, no restaurant, no staff, no gym.”

“The room was clean and we got a clean towel. There was no ice, no plastic cups, glasses of any kind. No shower curtain by design but you walk in the shower at the front so the water goes all over the floor which I cleaned. I could go on. They should at least have some basic things before opening for business and the room was not a bargain! It was expensive. ”

“This is a very clean, comfortable, cute hotel on the outskirts of town. It is minimally decorated and very cozy. The bed was very comfortable and although you had to share bathrooms and showers with other guest they were clean and beautifully renovated. We appreciated the small basket of soaps and shampoos that were available in the room. Our stay was quiet and relaxing. Also thanks for suggesting Marfa’s Burritos for breakfast. ”
